Summary

I am a recent graduate of the Master of Business Analytics program at MIT Sloan School of Management and have a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have gained experience in data science and analytics through various projects and internships.

One of my major achievements was at Acumen LLC, where I leveraged data science tools to generate healthcare analytics solutions for healthcare providers and government agencies. I built data pipelines and utilized advanced statistical methods such as survival analysis and causal inference to predict patient outcomes and drive policy changes that impact thousands of patients across the US.

In another project, I developed classification models to predict the success likelihood of young financial agents for the MIT Analytics Lab sponsored by MassMutual. I achieved a 65% accuracy rate and provided recommendations for MassMutual to target key companies for hiring through an industry analysis of 20+ competitors.

My work at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Data Science Research Intern involved building data engineering pipelines and developing an operating room scheduling optimization model using Mixed-integer Programming (MIP) technique. I was able to enhance the average operating room utilization rate by 9% and reduce the weighted average room mis-utilization rate by 23%.
