I was a Data Scientist in the e-commerce retail industry, serving tens of millions of customers in Omnichannel. I went through the whole life cycle of the productization of a project called trending items from scratch, including algorithm design, data collection, model tracing, evaluation, metrics design, and API development. I am also familiar with Databricks, PySpark, MLFlow, T5 transformer, and Learning to Rank models like LGBMRanker.

Before that, I worked as a Software Engineer for a year in the healthcare industry after I completed my computer science bachelor's degree. At that time, I was fascinated by how big data and machine learning could change peoples beliefs to reevaluate their health issues. I am passionate to explore the path in the data science field, analyzing data, predicting values, and creating insights to solve real-life problems.

Expectations

I hope I have a chance to own an independent project so that it will impact the company directly. Also, I wish my coworkers to display a positive and respectful attitude and we get feedback from each other. Last but not least, professional training and the opportunity to practice leadership would be appreciated.
