Summary

I am a problem-solver and analytical thinker with over 7 years of data science experience. I earned my PhD from Caltech in a highly quantitative field, where I then transitioned into the biotech/healthcare sector as I became passionate about using my technical and leadership skills to tackle issues related to human health and improving the patient experience. I have solid industry data science experience, being a core member of a real world data modelling team at a cutting-edge health AI startup, where I developed machine learning models to predict cancer risk from electronic medical record (EHR and health insurance claims) data. I am also an excellent communicator and have routinely presented complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. I am excited to explore new opportunities where I can continue to leverage my skills to help deliver positive outcomes for patients.

Expectations

I am looking to build on my extensive experience in data science to progress to more senior roles where I can contribute both my technical and leadership skills to help lead the management of projects and increase cross-functional team collaboration.
