Data Engineer

Summary

I've coded extensively in Python for a variety of use cases including building an open-source API for my NLP lab at Cornell, and constructing a cloud-based platform for visualizing trends in reputation data, using a relational database and distributed processing to ETL over 1TB of data. I built this in AWS and automated the pipeline using Airflow. I'm passionate about leveraging data to improve consumer experiences, and working with clients in a consulting context.

Expectations

Ideally, data engineering with a bit of analytics mixed in. I'd love a consulting-esque role where I'm building for a client, but that's not necessary. I'd also be happy doing a standard backend software engineering role.
