Summary

Provide end to end technical support for Spark Platform related issues and resolve any challenges involving the Databricks unified analytics platform.
Being a Lead Support Engineer troubleshooting and resolving complex customer infrastructure issues related to Databricks platform.
Ensure that all their support cases, feature requests are properly handled as per the SLA.
Troubleshoot and help the customers to integrate BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Tibco, FiveTran.. etc, job orchestrator tools such as Apache Airflow as Azure Data Factory, version control systems such as Azure DevOps, Github and JDBC/ODBC clients with Databricks.
Help the customers on best practices and automate their use cases using Databricks REST APIs, Databricks CLI, Terraform and custom initialization scripts.
Review complex customers use cases and help them achieve by researching and reproducing them in house lab.
Provide best practices guidance for custom-built solutions developed by Databricks customers.
Help with the issues around third-party data source integrations with Databricks environments such as Oracle, Snowflake, Teradata, Redshift, ..etc.
Demonstrate ownership and coordinate with engineering and escalation teams to achieve resolution of customer issues and requests
Develop, coach and mentor the team to enable them to excel in their roles.
Delivered enablement sessions on the new features to the team members.
Identify the knowledge base candidates, assign to the engineers, review, and follow up until they are published.
Regularly the review the cases assigned to the engineers and ensure case hygiene is maintained and SLA compliances are met
Provide suggestions for improving performance and optimize the cost in customer-specific environments.
