Summary

Conducted comprehensive research focused on the evaluation of cryptocurrencies and their potential to replace traditional fiat money within the global financial sector. This research, forming the foundation of my bachelor's thesis, combined a systematic review of existing literature with a data analysis of the characteristics, underlying blockchain technology, and broader impact of cryptocurrencies.

Throughout this year-long research project, I identified and addressed current challenges that impede the broad adoption of cryptocurrencies as a viable alternative to fiat currency.
