Summary

I am a recent Data Science and Analytics graduate from University of Leeds, United Kingdom and
currently working as Data Analyst - Remediation in Lowell Financial Ltd., United Kingdom. I am looking to
flex my knowledge and talent to identify new growth strategies for your company through this role. I
have always been fascinated by numbers and working for as a Data Analyst has always been a long-term goal of mine.
In my pursuit of new creative endeavors, I was excited to come across the job vacancy posted by
you. I believe I can bring a substantial contribution towards this role.
In my current role as Data Analyst - Remediation, I am responsible for working on different types of
historical review and remediation processes. Utilized SQL and SAS to perform data analysis and basic
processes within the company. Brought in ideas for designing new processes and improved the current
methods. Delivered remediation actions that arose from reviews to improve customer outcomes.
During my previous role as systems engineer, I worked in SQL to monitor the changes in data quality
during data transfer between databases. In erroneous situations, I collaborated with the Development
Team for troubleshooting. I performed several tests, including UI testing, sanity testing and generated
reports and tickets to maintain a record in Jira. I am well acquainted with machine learning, time
series, AI, and statistics from my MSc degree. I have also developed my organizational skills,
multitasking skills, time management, problem-solving skills, and ability to work individually as well
as a team through various projects throughout my academic career and from my previous work
experience.
My passion for analyzing data, academic knowledge, and good understanding of data makes me a
suitable candidate for this position. I am very adaptive and flexible to learning new things and I am a
fast learner. I am detail-oriented, organized, and precise in my work. I am sure these are few of the
valuable qualities that I wish to bring it to the table, and I assure you that I will give my full potential
for the growth of this organization. I am determined to use my experience and knowledge to achieve
the strategic and operational goals of the company and at the same time keen to continue developing
my skill set on the job.

Expectations

I am a Data Analyst for Remediation at Lowell Financial. I specialize in handling quantitative data, using a combination of data analysis and data science expertise, to extract valuable business intelligence insights. These findings are then used to generate Power BI reports, involving with custom measures and columns, which are then presented to critical stakeholders.
I recently graduated with a merit in MSc in Data Science and Analytics from The University of Leeds.
