Summary
As a Land Search Specialist at KB Home, I held the responsibility of maintaining the land asset portfolio and of a multibillion-dollar company. I maintained this portfolio by analyzing public city records, familiarizing myself with the latest listings presented by websites such as Redfin, Loopnet, etc. I also reviewed archived records of land opportunities throughout KB Homes land acquisition history. I also noticed the position requires the analyst to provide job cost reports to project managers, clients and stakeholders. In my previous position, I would present my findings to our executive team in the form of recurring reports which highlighted the best investment opportunities that aligned with KB Homes financial strategy. These reports were presented to the land committee who ultimately granted the land acquisition team permission to acquire vacant property for residential development. KB Homes Land committee approved 7 properties that I identified which allowed me to make offers on $50-million worth of investment opportunities.
