Cybersecurity Analyst

Summary

I'm a security expert with experience in a traditional SOC team at the T2-3 level.
I do everything from malware analysis, incident response, and endpoint security.

I passed the CISSP exam and am working towards the 5-year requirement for full certification.
I also hold COMPTIA's A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications.
I'm currently studying for my M.Sc in Cybersecurity as well.

Before shifting gears into cybersecurity, I worked as an AML specialist (anti-money laundering) and fraud investigator in the finance industry. Here I got lots of experience balancing regulatory requirements, risk management, and business activities - and I would love to get back to doing this within the cybersecurity realm.

Expectations

I would like to graduate from dealing with the day-to-day security to dealing more with GRC, policy design, regulations, etc.

I work best independently, and tend to take a leadership role within a team.
