Summary

I spent 20+ years in engineering leadership roles with a strong focus on Open Source technologies helping organisations to build robust and stable platforms while working really close with the development teams. I originally started in a development role but quickly moved to an operations role so I have insights in both type of needs. I've worked in both small and large organisations , both traditional and startups in sectors ranging from such as Telco, Banking, Logistics and Government I transformed from low performers to high quality output. I created structure in chaotic environments, and helped teams to deliver quality software faster.
I designed and build redundant platforms that survived datacenter failures
Next to the engineering leadership I also spent time doing evangelisation of devops principles and open source tooling.
I've worked both in a consultant role as well as internal roles.
