Summary

Hoang has 15+ years of leadership management roles in Technical R&D, project management, cost control and reduction, operation, and driving teams on technology development for both internal employees and external stakeholders as well as sales targets for both logistics technology /supply chain systems for global usage and Delivery & Logistics services in Vietnam. Also, he has expertise in ERPs (Dynamics, SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.), eCommerce platforms, CMS systems, EDI Supply Chain systems including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Costco, Target, JCP Penny.
Currently as the Vice President, Country Head of Technology, Product, Data & Programs at Lazada Logistics (Flex Speed), he reports to Group CTO and CEO of Logistics in Vietnam and manages 8 direct reports (2 Senior Managers, BI Manager, 3 Product Managers, 2 dotted lines which are Senior IT Manager and local Cyber Security Manager) to lead Technology roadmap, Technology implementation, Product development & Operations in Vietnam market, build a consistently high quality/performance of logistics services and external logistics partners, develop Data Dashboards to monitor all eLogistic KPIs metrics for operational improvements & standardize logistics performance of partners & 3PLs (GHN/Best/J&T/ Ahamove/Grab, etc)
He implemented organizational changes, new processes, new technology (RFID, Auto Sort Center, Smart Dim weight, etc) to resolve fraud sellers, loss of shipments and streamline the process which take the company from the loss of 20 billion VND per year (due to fraud sellers, damaged, effective Fulfillment material packaging, labor cost, fix assets, etc), enhance the e2e delivery Leadtime (national wide) to 2.6 days, enables the business capability to handle effectively 500K+ orders effectively every day.
He implemented a Covid Risk manager tool which provide 3 levels of operation management levels (Red/Yellow/Green), applied for all Lazada facilities during Covid period. Lazada Logistics is the Only one 3PL who can deliver goods during Covid period (May- Sept 2021)
Recently, he started the new projects for Social/ Non-Platforms services (Multi Channels, Sales enablement, B2C/ B2B Fulfillment, FM & LM delivery services) for Sellers and manufacturers that want to sell goods to other 6 countries in SEA. Leading 2 key Sales workstreams to bring Key Accounts/ Brand names to Logistic eco-systems & control Logistics performance of that program versus overall Lazada platform logistic performance.
Before Lazada, he spent 1 years of experience in leading all aspects of Operation IT (220+headcount, multiple sites, cross-locations) at Seldat Co Ltd to transform from internal IT department to global SaaS supply chain system providers & 3PL warehousing services for customers in North America, Israel & Vietnam markets.
Previously, spent 12 Years+ a global service provider for EDI and supply chain solutions. Started as a Project Manager (4 years) and worked his way up to Offshore Development Center Manager, reported to Group CEO & Country Manager. He managed the software development center to deliver services (Outsourcing, EDI, Logistic solutions, etc) for all of their big clients which are 30,000 global Hubs/Vendors across countries. He oversaw a team of 150+headcounts (22 PM, 30+ Technical leaders, QC manager) execute more than 3000 projects on time and achieved the revenue of 20 million USD annually. Supported the company branch in Japan winning a 30 million USD contract deploy a Host to host Payment system & EDI Service Bureau for Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi.
Take responsible for complex RFPs responses Managed SaaS EDI service, Supply Chain, B2B/C ecommerce, Financial Services...) in terms of analyzing & architecting the solution and compiling the SOW / BOQ, and providing the Technical / Business responses
