Summary

I have spent more than two decades bringing people and technology together to deliver value to customers. Throughout my career, I have led technical teams to design, implement, and deploy excellent products through rigorous strategic execution. My most significant achievement has been the amazing engineering talent I have recruited, mentored, and retained. I have established and integrated agile methods into engineering activities, working through agile transformations, and built successful engineering teams, IT groups, and QA departments. I have also launched SaaS products at organizations that adhere to ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST 800-171, and HIPAA High trust cyber security certifications.

Projects Ive led include AI/ML solutions integrated with IoT devices for the USDA, USAF, USSF, and USMC, working directly with government end users and stakeholders to identify their needs, roadmap projects, author grant proposals, and drive technical execution across multiple engineering disciplines. The infrastructure of this project serves as the backbone of my present employer, handling tens of thousands of IoT image sensors, transmitting tens of millions of images and videos each month creating the cornerstone of their business.
In addition, I have led my teams through the development of globally distributed software solutions for large enterprises such as Fujitsu, Buckingham Palace, UK Parliament, University of Florida, Sutter Health, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, American Airlines, Los Angeles County, Bose, Principal Financial Group, and the Supreme Court of the United States. These solutions were implemented in diverse industries such as Information and Technology, Consumer Products Development and Manufacturing, Medical Care, Higher Education, Government Administration, Financial Services, Retail, Transportation, Insurance, and Construction. I have contributed to technical innovations in metadata programming and computer vision IoT. I am also the primary inventor of a handful of Virtual Reality associated patents related to athletics training.

Moreover, I have conducted recruitment and due diligence for strategic acquisitions in mergers and acquisitions and led UX audits with industry-leading user experience firms to further drive the value of solutions. I have served as a mentor, speaker, and Chief Technical Advisor for Exponential Impact (XI), a Colorado Springs Startup Accelerator, and as a Blockchain panelist at the National Cyber Center's Cyber Security Symposium.

Lastly, I have authored a book for non-technical executives who lead a software organization that became a resource for many Software Engineers I mentored, who now lead teams at other organizations at multiple levels from Team Lead to Director.

Expectations

I am looking for an organization that strives to build value by constantly delivering quality solutions to its customers through creating fantastic teams that build world-class technology. I need to be a member of an executive team where we all trust and depend on each other; working towards being a world-class organization. My ideal organization would be characterized by every team member from the lowest to highest levels looking back on this time of their career as something special.
