Summary

I am a content writer and editor with 3.5 years of experience managing content operations across multiple digital publications.

I have a proven track record of establishing editorial standards, crafting content briefs, assigning content updates to writers, reviewing pitches and outlines, conducting keyword/SEO research, and producing content that ranks for competitive keywords. I also managed a monthly tech newsletter that I scaled from 7,000 to almost 14,000 subscribers.

I'm comfortable navigating various content management systems and have built websites with WordPress, Astro, and custom code. Other platforms and technologies I've used include Cloudflare Pages, GitHub, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, LowFruits, Claude Code, Brevo, Substack, Trello, Google Suite, and more.

In addition, I am familiar with numerous concepts and tools that deal with website optimization. I know how to audit and improve a website's accessibility (WCAG and ARIA), baseline security (OWASP and a strong CSP), and speed (PageSpeed Insights, GTMetrix, Pingdom, etc).

Expectations

I am passionate about content. I enjoy both the writing aspect and the editing side, and have experience with both. Ideally, I'd like a role that combines my love of content with my deep interest in technology. Although I've primarily worked in the WordPress and web hosting space, I feel comfortable tackling more technical topics and would enjoy going deeper in that direction. However, I am fine with simpler reviews and beginner-focused tutorials as well.
