Summary

I have 23 years in advanced computer science experience focused on national security. Through that time I served as a US Army Warrant Officer as well as a state employee. I have served in roles ranging from lab director to CISO and CTO. My professional career is focused on cybersecurity and executive leadership. I have depth of knowledge in network penetration, mobile communications, space technology, UAVs/ drones and cyber forensics. I have also lead all forms of IT and security services in a large distributed enterprise. I currently advise several companies as well as domestic and foreign government agencies on cyber security best practices. I am a member of the Forbes Technology Council and an editorial advisor to a cybersecurity magazine.

Expectations

I would like to put my leadership experience to work in a company that is focused on exciting new technology or has a challenging security need. I would like to lead a team of security or IT professionals and provide mentorship and growth opportunities to the staff. I hope to develop a strong relationship with the business decision makers and guide them through the security needs of the organization defining risk and opportunity in ways that clearly support the objective of their business unit.
