Business Operations Manager

Summary

After spending 15 years in increasingly complex roles as an Executive Assistant, I was promoted to Program Manager/Business Operations Manager. After 1.5 years, I was promoted to Senior Program Manager and people manager of a team of 3 PMO Program Managers. I tripled the scope of the team and hired 5 more PMs, running the rhythm of business, building operational plans, setting standards for documentation, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely participation of a world-wide leadership team. My stakeholders were cross-functional and included VPs, Directors, Legal, Finance, HR, Program Managers, Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and Editorial. I am currently working as a direct-report to a Chief of Staff working on events and mechanism planning.

Expectations

In my next role I hope to focus on running the rhythm of business and operational/funding planning cycles (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly) to make sense of the chaos and control the controllable. I am also open to Executive Business Partner roles with scope to grow into Chief of Staff.
