Summary

Technical Product Manager with a passion for operations and experience in engineering, design, and consulting. In my next role, I am seeking to be an operations manager at an early- or growth-stage startup, preferably one that places a strong emphasis on DEI and is driven by an ethical mission. I would like to be able to problem solve across departments - focused on process improvements and systems building with the ultimate goal of minimizing the extraneous work that draws employees away from the work that brings them meaning.

My experience is highly varied. I have:
- Developed a variety of consumer and industrial products as a mechanical engineer.
- Consulted small businesses on strategy, branding, digital transformation, and organization design.
- Helped found a startup in the medical device industry.
- Revamped the operations of a volunteer non-profit organization.
- Learned full-stack web development and built several web applications in Javascript.
- Served as a product manager at both an established company and a Series A startup.

Expectations

The company is well-organized and ideally mission-driven, with an emphasis on employee happiness and psychological safety. There needs to be a clear strategy to guide the work, or at least have me in a position where I can help define that.
