Bioinformatics Data Scientist
Summary
I am an interdisciplinary postdoc researcher with 10 years of research experience integrating discovery-driven computational analysis of large datasets and hypothesis-driven wet-lab experimental science. In my doctoral research and especially as a postdoc at MIT I have gained fluency in R and Python programming languages and am an expert at generating and using bioinformatics pipelines for comparative microbial genomics and transcriptomics analysis. I am self-motivated, curious and passionate about improving health through systems biology.
Expectations
I am looking for an opportunity to use my unique set of computational skills and experimental biology background to help discover and optimize new therapies for disease in the setting of a biotech or pharmaceutical company. I am especially interested in combining clinical biomarker analysis with high-throughput in vitro screens to optimize drug combinations and provide new therapeutic options for complex and multi-factorial diseases such as metabolic disorders and autoimmune disease.
