Summary

I have been Software Engineer at Bird for more than 2 years, including 1 year as intern, and here's my achievements:
- Developed Birds payment system using Kotlin, Jenkins, and Vault for processing riders payment via external financial service providers.
- Developed failed payment clawback to collect some money after a payment failed, which means we retried every week resulting in 0.5% revenue gain, using Kotlin and AWS.
- Fixed existing payment issues to regain revenue. (1%)
- Integrated with multiple financial service providers such as Stripe, Braintree, Ayden.
- Worked with PostgreSQL database via Metabase to insert and retrieve data for reporting features.
- Worked as an on-call engineer one week as a month to keep an eye on critical application elements, such as high latency on endpoints or bugs, using Opsgenie and Datadog.

Expectations

I expect my new job that I can have a chance to work on different kinds of things, not just one thing over and over again. Also, I'm happy to work with friendly and helpful teammates that can support each other!
