Backend Engineer

Summary

I am a Junior Software Engineer primarily working with backend languages with a year and a half of experience.
In my previous position, I worked as a backend engineer on a SaaS company geared toward a small consumer resell niche, that gathered over $50 million in product acquisition. In this role, I helped scale the backend and build out APIs to interact with our client application. This position also helped me learn security on the core level, with ensuring all my work was protected from bad actors.

I am most experienced in Go/GoLang, C#, and Node.js. I also have experience in Java, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and NoSQL (like MongoDB).
I am open to new languages or frameworks and have no issue learning quickly and efficiently.

Expectations

I am looking for a backend role, but I enjoy a challenge in the work I do, requiring me to think outside of the box. I enjoy also ensuring all public endpoints are secure, and would have no problem doing that at my next role.
