Summary

I have 4+ years of experience using both Python/Django and Node/Express. I have built and tested both web applications and websites. I am comfortable designing, developing, and deploying features from the ground up, offering creative technical insight throughout the process.

In my previous roles, I develop and optimize the APIs powering internal tools aimed at improving productivity as well as easing the hiring of new employees. I've designed and implemented resource level caching as well as eliminated duplicate queries which led to substantial improvement in the load times of backend resource endpoints from 7 seconds to 50ms. I have also optimized the user-facing components compilation speeds by moving calculations and complex logic to the backend. I also build reusable components while emphasizing good quality code in Vue.js
