Summary

Software Engineer with a year of experience in Android development. I was working in the Insurance industry. I also have experience working with Patients within the Medical Industry.

I started at Flatiron School. I studied Ruby, javascript, HTML, and React. I grew an interest in mobile development over time. Starting with Swift and then ultimately committing to Android after starting a position in Android. The position had me working in an Agile environment where I would speak on possible improvements for the team in meetings. I was the vanguard of new development, but I would also find time to fix bugs.

I like to focus on two things in development swiftness and balancing with it the future of the team. I try to create code that's to be understood. While also thinking about how code and documents can be used in the future to get more done faster. In other words, I want to be pragmatic but ambitious.
I also have experience with firebase, ruby on rails, PostgreSQL, SQL, SQLite, and MERN.

Expectations

I'm looking to learn from a diverse group of people. I want to make sure my voice is heard by my managers. I like to be mission-focused. I want to follow through with my employer on questions, and commitment to the goals of the work I'm there for.
