Android Engineer

Summary

I am an open-minded Android Engineer who is eager to learn new technologies and educate others. I have spent a considerable amount of time working on video services with short videos and live streams, creating reliable CI/CD pipelines, writing tests, and teaching developer teams.

Me at the previous job:

I worked for fitolio.com, a top 10 startup in Cyprus that specializes in developing fitness platforms for iOS, Android, and the web. Our platform was designed to inspire ordinary users to stay fit and healthy, as well as connect with their favorite trainers from anywhere in the world. We also created an opportunity for fitness influencers to engage with their followers by streaming live and sharing their experiences.

As an Android Engineer, I played a crucial role in developing and contributing to the project. One of my key achievements was developing both the client and creators' applications from scratch.

Achievements:
Compose design system in a separate repository, which was published into our own artifactory system.
Entire CI/CD processes, including the implementation of screenshot tests, JUnit tests, code coverage, code linting, and development build publishing for testers.
Fully Compose-written apps with a great balance between proven and modern technologies

The most interesting aspects of the project I worked on include WebRTC video streaming, In-App purchases billing system and a screen with a two-way scroll for several content types with a difficult video prefetch system.

Expectations

I'd like to work with interesting applications with a modern technical stack or with the ability to fix all the legacy.
