Summary

I spent my formative years in a country that has witnessed the most uproar over the past couple of decades, and growing up here, my inclination towards learning about computer science and innovation was an organic by-product of living in Abu Dhabi. My academic foundation is etched in Abu Dhabi and India, where I studied at some of the most prestigious educational and research institutions.
Studying at one of the most premia and one of the top Tier-1 institutions in India NIT Rourkela, which ranks among the top 20 colleges in India for engineering, has fascinated me more in the world of computer science and has played a role in deepening my interest in the subject.
I worked as a Data Science Intern during my third year, hoping to gain added exposure. Here, I engaged in data manipulation and visualization using python, which included accessing, transforming data, and generating reports and visuals. The project also included analytics for a gaming company on how to increase the revenue from in-game purchases by increasing the retention rate of gamers, performing exploratory data analysis of the given datasets, and generating their statistical summary. I also worked on Power BI and created a Market Share Analysis dashboard to study company performance and make data-informed business decisions.
After graduation, I gained experience at GEP Solutions as a Full Stack Developer by developing procurement software called GEP Nexxe and customizing the domain for each client. I was Involved in the creation of new codebase for building flexible components/plugins, resulting in a 50% reduction in development time and increased scalability for future feature enhancements/ deliverables by taking part in developing a low code platform. The role also constituted enhancing existing functionalities to add additional features which are more interface friendly and easier to handle as per user requirements. In addition to that I also developed and implemented innovative code to build 5+ custom components/plugins, enhancing user experience and enabling seamless integration of new features. I also used different software like new relic, elastic search to find the error log and the stack trace, and determine the root cause analysis from that.
