Summary

I have experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Modern Treasury, where I worked on the Growth Engineering Team and shipped a feature that prevented duplicate organizations during the sign-up flow. I have also completed two personal projects - Pharmacy Helper and InstagramGhost - using Javascript and Selenium respectively. Pharmacy Helper helped to eliminate errors in the ordering process and saved the pharmacy an average of $30,000 on brand medicine, while InstagramGhost scraped data from personal Instagram profiles and provided a list of followers sorted in descending order of engagement.

In terms of extracurricular activities, I have worked as a Tutor at CUNY Hunter College, assisting students with debugging and holding study sessions to explain data structures. I also founded and served as President of the Thamra Association, which organized workshops and conferences to help students develop their soft skills, coordinated fundraisers for needy students, and provided scholarships based on exceptional academic and extracurricular results. Additionally, I served as Vice President of the ASA College Computer Science Club, organizing workshops and providing career guidance to students.

I am currently pursuing a B.A. in Computer Science at Hunter College, where I have completed coursework in product development, software analysis & design, database management, and big data technologies. I also hold an A.S. in Computer Programming from ASA College, where I completed coursework in server-side and client-side web development, server-specific database design, and object-oriented programming.

I possess technical skills in C++, TypeScript, React, Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Git, product design, Javascript, SQL, and database management. I am fluent in English, Arabic, and French and have been awarded membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Thomas Scholarship Program from the Department of State.
