Ai linguist/NLP/Language analyst
Summary
Welcome to my profile!
I am a passionate Linguist with a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Bordeaux, France, graduating in September 2020.
Throughout my academic journey, I had the invaluable opportunity to delve into various facets of language analysis and computational linguistics. The diverse range of internships I undertook allowed me to accumulate two years of hands-on experience in fields such as speech analysis, natural language processing (NLP), statistics, and phonemic/phonetic annotation.
During my studies, I immersed myself in a captivating curriculum, covering subjects like Syntax, Phonology, Pragmatics, Semantics, Discourse Analysis, Morphology, and more. These courses not only provided me with a solid theoretical foundation but also fueled my fascination with the intricacies of language.
As I embarked on my professional journey, I transitioned into freelancing as a Language analyst. In this role, I have successfully completed various tasks, including XSAMPA transcription, designing rules for semantic taxonomies, and data generation/annotation to resolve reported issues in NLP classification. I have also undertaken projects involving the annotation of logged query transcripts and voice commands, QA testing, and bug reporting.
Feel free to reach out to me for any inquiries or collaboration opportunities. I am eager to connect and discuss how I can contribute to your projects.
Expectations
In my new job, I have several expectations. Firstly, I expect to be able to contribute my expertise and skills to the team and organization, making a meaningful impact on projects and initiatives. I also hope for a collaborative and inclusive work environment where I can learn from colleagues and grow professionally.
Additionally, I anticipate clear communication and feedback from my supervisors and colleagues to help me continuously improve in my role. It's important to me that the job aligns with my career goals and offers opportunities for advancement and skill development.
