The customer we're hiring for is an industry-leading specialty carrier with extensive expertise in healthcare professional liability, products liability, legal professional liability and WC insurance. They own a subsidiary organization which that provides workers' compensation insurance products and services. We are helping them hire a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to help handle a combination of lost time/indemnity and medical only claims in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia (NO licenses needed).
In this role, you will be responsible for handling a combination of lost time and medical only claims, but the majority will be lost time, and you will be handling those from beginning to end. You will be responsible for adjusting a pending of 100 files and will have authority limit of $75K.
Upon initial training, you will need to report to the office in Charlotte, NC and pending performance, the role will transition completely to a remote day-to-day.
Must-haves:
*5+ most recent years as a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster handling LT and MO claims from beginning to end
*3+ most recent years handling workers' compensation claims in NC, SC, VA jurisdictions (NO licenses needed)
*Be willing to go into office for the initial training located in Charlotte, NC (after training, remote work is available if performance standards are being met)
