Were Hiring: Validation Engineer Propulsion Systems
Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite)

Are you passionate about validating next-generation propulsion systems? We're looking for an experienced Validation Engineer to lead the development and automation of Design Verification Plans (DVPs) for cutting-edge powertrain technologies including ICE, hybrid, and electric systems.
This is a high-impact role where you'll collaborate across design, software, and test teams to ensure our propulsion systems are robust, compliant, and ready for the road.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and automate DVPs for complete propulsion systems
Integrate automated tools for test tracking, maneuver scripting, and data analysis
Drive validation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Maintain version-controlled documentation through the product lifecycle
Create automated reporting systems for KPIs, test results, and issue logs
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal validation standards
Participate in design reviews and influence testability at early stages

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering
5+ years in propulsion system development, validation, or testing
Proficiency in Excel VBA, Python, or other scripting tools for test automation
Hands-on experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, dSPACE HIL, INCA
Working knowledge of OBD standards, CAN/LIN protocols, and DVP&R methods
Strong understanding of propulsion system architectures and components

Preferred Skills:
Masters degree in a relevant engineering field
Familiarity with ALM systems, hybrid/electric drivetrains, and model-based systems engineering
Experience with MATLAB simulations and advanced data acquisition tools
