User Interface Engineer

Job Summary
At Tarana, you will help build a cutting-edge cloud product -- a management system for wireless networks, scaling to millions of devices -- using modern cloud-native architecture and open-source technologies.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for network monitoring and management, using both web-based and native mobile applications. This will include everything from requirements gathering (working with Product Management and customers) to UI design to implementation, UI performance optimization, etc. You may also have to work with third-party user interfaces and integrate them into our product.

You will work as a key member of a devops-style team that owns one or more services, end-to-end. There will be PoCs, customer pilots, and production releases, all in an agile engineering environment. Expect to be challenged and stretch your skills on a daily basis. Expect to meet or beat exacting standards of quality and performance. We will provide the right mentoring to make sure that you can succeed.

The job is based in Pune, and this job profile will require in-person presence in the office multiple days a week to interact with team members.

Job Requirements:

Web UI development using HTML5, CSS, Javascript/Typescript frameworks
At least one project implemented using React, Redux etc
Well-versed in client-side MVC
Integrating with backend cloud services using REST APIs
Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms
Familiarity with continuous integration / continuous deployment processes and tools

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a closely-related field
At least 2 years of experience in front-end software development.
Full-stack and devops skills are a plus
