TITLE: Systems Integration Engineer
DIVISION: MEGS
REPORTS TO: Integration Operations Lead
FLSA: Exempt
SUPERVISES: None
Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Possibility of Partial Remote)
Shift & Travel
M-F, Days
20% (or less) travel required
MAJOR FUNCTION: Develops and implements solutions integrating applications for DoD satellite ground system programs. This role evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs. This position will perform analysis, development, validation, and maintenance of assigned system interfaces and interacts with internal and external teams throughout multiple project phases. Individual will interface with various teams, DevOps, Engineering, Integration, COTS, comparable but parallel Ops teams and client/customer
Responsibilities Essential Functions
Follow established procedures to deploy integrated software systems
Use experience and knowledge of IT and software related fields in troubleshooting efforts
Analysis, creation, or modification of scripts and limited software development skills are desired to support system configuration and integration activities
Works in conjunction with deployment and integration team lead to provide support across multiple company sponsored programs and projects
Complete all initial and annual training requirements and disclosures as outlined by BSTG
Perform all other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives and responsibilities of the department
Must be able to interface with partners and be familiar with the Department of Defense as well as Private Sector vendors
Required Education and Experience
Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred
4 years of experience; Mid-level experience preferred
Required Skills/Abilities Competencies
Knowledge of industry standard software development and deployment processes
COTS software configuration management, deployment, and integration methods
Understanding of system fundamentals regarding computer design, storage, and networking
Understanding of automation and virtualization technologies
Experience with RedHat Linux and Windows Operating Systems
Understanding of Windows Active Directory, Windows Domain architectures, and DNS
Ability to manage multiple tasks, positively influence team members, establish and maintain excellent customer relationships, and deliver positive results
Knowledgeable in Dev ops and Program language(s) Python. C++
Experience with C2 or TTC systems and concepts
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Experience authoring technical documents
Prior Military and or Federal Agency experience desired
Windows Domain Configuration
DNS Configuration (Win/Unix)
Windows Account Management
Unix/Linux Account Management
Familiar with source control (GIT)
Familiar with VMWare, vCenter, or vSphere
Working knowledge of satellite ground systems and space operations concepts
Experience with enterprise service bus technologies and concepts
Security Clearance Requirements:
DoD Secret security clearance
TS eligibility required; active TS preferred

The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $130,000.00.
