Job Description
We're on the lookout for a System Analyst to be based in the Alderley Edge office working within a team that focuses heavily on developing, supporting and maintaining our NEC web-based Housing Management product suite. Our products are some of the leading applications in the Local Government and Housing Sector - so this is a great opportunity to be working really closely with it!

Main Responsibilities:

Working within an Agile development team environment with other Analysts, Developers & Testers contributing to the SDLC of the NEC software application suite to meet the quality and timescales expected from our customer. You will:

Primarily to undertake software analysis and design of complex, new requirements.
As and when required, to work on the development and unit testing of the Housing Management product suite.
Provide technical assistance to QA and support teams.
Provide customer support and 3rd line investigation.
Qualifications
You must have demonstrable experience of analysis and development working in Oracle environments.

Essential:

Sound experience with Oracle SQL Plus, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Apex 5
Experience working on projects in an agile methodology
Strong skills with HTML, CSS and Javascript
Ability to devise functional solutions to complex business problems
Experience writing User Stories, Creating User Journeys or Process Mapping.
Strong experience with Analysis and Design of applications
Experience with Data Modelling Entity/Relationship Diagrams and Database Design

Desirable:

Experience eliciting requirements from stakeholders - either through remote or in person workshops, or other discovery methods.
Understanding of Agile Development Tooling
Experience with Oracle SQL Developer and TOAD would be advantageous
Experience with PVCS, SOAP/ XML and/or REST API's
