Staff Electrical Engineer Humanoid Robotics (San Francisco | On-Site)
Subject: Own the Electrical Stack for a Next-Gen Humanoid Robot
I'm hiring for a Humanoid Robotics startup in San Francisco, and were looking for a Staff Electrical Engineer to lead development of the full electrical system powering our robot.
This is a high-impact, on-site role for someone who wants to own the architecture and scaling of real-time embedded systems, power electronics, and comms networksfrom prototype to mass production.
Youll design ECUs, power systems, and embedded control boards that connect AI, motion, sensors, and compute into one unified platform.
Must-have experience:
10+ years in robotics, EV, aerospace, or similar
Deep expertise in PCB design, digital/analog/power electronics
Real-time comms protocols (CAN, EtherCAT, RS485)
Electrical safety, thermal, fault protection
Hands-on debug with scopes, logic analyzers, etc.
