Build the Future of Robotics Join Us as a Sr. Software Engineer

Were looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our API Platform team. This team is responsible for building robust, secure, and scalable APIs and SDKs that abstract the complexity of robotsmaking it easy for developers to build advanced robotics applications.

As a technical leader, youll shape the design, scalability, and developer experience of our core platform. You'll build APIs that connect the physical world of robots with the digital world of cloud services, supporting seamless deployments across industries.

What Youll Do

Architect and implement real-time, well-versioned REST and gRPC APIs in Go.
Lead development of cross-language SDKs (Go, Python, TypeScript) with clean, idiomatic interfaces.
Define and enforce API standards, governance, and versioning strategies.
Champion observability through metrics, distributed tracing, and alerting systems.
Collaborate with robotics, infrastructure, and product teams to translate complex systems into developer-friendly APIs.
Automate deployment/testing workflows for fast, safe, and continuous delivery.
Mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions through design docs, code reviews, and tech leadership.

Must have:

8+ years of backend engineering experience, with 2+ years at a Architect level.
Strong experience designing and maintaining production-level APIs, REST/gRPC, OpenAPI, or Protobuf.
Expertise in Go (or similar), with a deep understanding of networking, concurrency, and distributed systems.
Experience shipping services in cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
A developer-first mindsetclear documentation, intuitive APIs, and great DX matter to you.
Strong cross-functional communication skills and comfort with ambiguity in fast-moving environments.
Passion for scalable systems, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
