Job Description

Murano Corporation is a rapidly growing Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina based enterprise software provider with clients in automotive and military markets. Our team consists of Research Fellows, Research Scientists, PhDs, and ex-IBMers focused on leading edge and innovative research in areas of Cloud, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Geospatial, and Digital Twin technologies.

We are redefining enterprise software in manufacturing and military industries. We are looking for a hands-on, fast-paced, innovative, and dedicated Software Engineering Manager to join our team who:

-Can lead the software development of our flagship cloud software platform
-Leads the software development team and recruit as needed
-Works closely with software developers, data scientists, product managers, program managers, and UX designers to integrate Cloud, Computer Vision, AI, IoT, Geospatial, and Digital Twin technologies
-Incorporates customer ideas and input to refine the cloud software platform
-Creates internal and external documents, including presentations and articles
-Builds and optimizes computer software and hardware
-Conducts experiments and analyzes the results
-Presents research findings and strategy proposals to executives
-Collaborates with colleagues across departments to implement solutions.

Education and Experience Requirements:
-A degree in Computer Science or related major is strongly preferred with at least 5 years of software engineering leadership experience and 10+ years of industry experience
