Software Engineer (Front End) - Delivery - Remote US
Job Description
IQGeo is seeking a Software Delivery Engineer (Front End) to support our efforts for implementing and maintaining our software solutions for domestic and international enterprise customers. This role joins a dynamic team that enjoys working with complex applications and products that utilise geospatial software, GIS, engineering, and problem-solving skills. As an integral part of the IQGeo geospatial project delivery team, the successful candidate will contribute to implementing IQGeo products to our customers in the Utility and Telecommunications markets. The person in this role is expected to be capable of working independently, and as a team member, and should have a working knowledge of software implementation methodologies.
This role is based in the UK. IQGeo support flexible, remote and hybrid working patterns for staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather client requirements and perform implementation design based on the analysis of those requirements
Providing consulting to clients based on current operational processes and their fit with IQGeo products
Develop, test, and maintain solutions built on IQGeo products
Automated testing
Configuration management
Technical documentation of software design
Ability to travel to client sites, on occasion
Perform other related duties, as assigned
SKILLS
Essential Skills:
Primary Programming Language: JavaScript
Frameworks: One or more of React, jQuery, Node.js
Capable of working alone, as part of a team, and on multiple, concurrent projects
General Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
