Senior .NET Software Developer

Remote; United States

Terms: Six-month Contract to Hire; No C2C option available for this role

Capstone IT is helping our client hire a Software Developer who has a passion for creating innovative and engaging software that is used by a diverse set of customers, both internal and external.

This role will be responsible for designing, coding, and unit testing mission critical products and services that are used by thousands of end users. The team creates and supports a variety of products, from a Dynamics-based CRM to custom web portals and mobile apps. Applications are built using the Microsoft .NET stack, leveraging Azure for cloud services.

Job Responsibilities:
Work directly with customers to understand their needs and convey those needs to other team members in an understandable fashion
Design and write functional, maintainable code
Works with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to help determine priority and assess timelines
Work with UX Designers to create engaging software experiences
Participate in all agile ceremonies, including planning, pointing, demos, and retros
Prioritize unit tests, both manual and automated, to ensure the highest code quality
Responsible for timely and thorough code reviews
Responsible for documenting all programs to the required company standard
Work with external vendors to ensure deliverables meet company needs and standards
Own the delivery pipeline, preferably using CI/CD best practices
Participate in architectural design decisions and communicate those to your team

Job Qualifications:
Five or more years in a .NET Core/C# enterprise environment to include Asynchronous Programming, LINQ, and Dependency Injection.
Front end technologies to include JavaScript, HTML, CSS and ReactJS
Microservices and API Development
Containerization; Kubernetes.
Any Azure experience- Authentication, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Fabric, Key Vault or App Configuration.
SharePoint experience
Experience implementing DevOps Pipelines

Preferences:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field, or relevant work experience.
Experience with SQL or other relational databases.
Experience using Git or other version control systems.
Native Mobile, Swift, Kotlin or Xamarin development.
Familiarity with Microsoft products and services, especially Microsoft Dynamics.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Proven self-starter and creative problem solver.
Ability to work independently.
Regular attendance and punctuality.
