Kotlin/Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Kotlin / Java SW Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

Job responsibilities:
Research, design and development for cutting-edge cellular communications solutions using Kotlin, Akka, Gradle, Gitlab and Docker
Design and development of Domain Driven Design, Reactive Architecture, Actor based system
Develop CI/CD pipeline, Unit tests, integration tests and E2E tests
Work collaboratively with professional developers, system architects and
product managers to deliver high-quality technical solutions
Contribute to technological and architectural decisions
Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit,
methodology and tools

Requirements:
8+ years of experience in Kotlin and Java software development
Experience with functional programming, message-based communication,
Reactive programming, DDD and TDD
BSc or equivalent in computer science or related field
Ability to read documentation and create tools based on the specifications
Self-directed - highly capable at planning out work and executing projects
independently
Team player experienced in working in an agile environment
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Other requirements:
Passion for Software Development and Technology in general
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
Good level of spoken and written English language (upper-intermediate)
