mmhmm helps anyone instantly produce live and recorded video presentations that are entertaining to watch and easy to make. Founded in 2020, we believe being better at video is a crucial skill for any successful modern business. As a fully distributed, global team ourselves, were on a mission to empower people who work on video (that is, nearly everyone) to create more sustainable and joyful ways to work, teach, and collaborate. Our growing team includes founding members of Evernote, and were backed by Sequoia Capital, SoftBank and other leading investors. mmhmm is part of All Turtles, a studio sharing resources to help multiple brands build meaningful products people love.

As an early Growth Manager for mmhmm Business, you will have the rare opportunity to influence the strategy of our nascent go-to-market team. Youll be responsible for partnering with our highest potential corporate users to understand their needs and determine what it takes to help them unlock greater usage of mmhmm in their respective organizations. You will represent the voice of the customer internally at mmhmm, and have an opportunity to influence the direction of our product. Youll create the go-to-market playbooks that will ultimately be utilized by future sales hires as we shift our focus from growth to revenue. Youll be a brand ambassador for mmhmm with customers and with teammates alike. You will have many opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with partners in Marketing, Support, and Product as we start to build out a sales team to complement our current product-led growth motion. Were looking for a true Renaissance Sales leader that is passionate about talking to customers and can wear multiple hats in these early days of unlocking business usage of mmhmm.

Youll be responsible for:

Evangelizing mmhmms Business and Enterprise products to new customers.
Reaching out to new trials/users within customers to expand use cases and drive more revenue.
Ensuring healthy customer retention and expansion through consultative partnership.
Collecting and sharing product feedback to our internal teams.
Being an exemplary ambassador for mmhmm, both internally and externally.
Ideally, youll have:

4+ years of technology sales experience with a preference for SaaS.
3+ years of quota-carrying sales closing experience with a track record of over-performance.
Past experience on a fast-growing sales team with a preference for hypergrowth and product-led companies.
Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with great poise and concise articulation.
Strong problem-solving skills, the ability and the desire to find solutions and build processes where none previously exists.
On top of being a product expert of mmhmm, you thrive as an industry expert and thought leader. You create Ah ha! moments for customers, speaking directly to their challenges and coming up with viable solutions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, diverse, and highly collaborative team environment.
You obsess over providing a top-tier experience for your customers.
You are not only excited about winning new business, but also about designing repeatable processes that enable our GTM team to scale and succeed as we grow.

The Growth Manager role is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Sales. This role can be based in any location globally. Since our distributed team works across US time zones, US-based applicants are preferred.
