Boost Talent are representing a forward-thinking engineering consultancy specialising in secure cloud solutions for the National Security and Defence sectors. Theyre seeking Senior AWS Engineers who combine deep technical expertise with strong consulting and communication skills individuals who lead by example and deliver meaningful impact across complex, high-trust environments.
Locations: London or Cheltenham (3 days per week on site)
Clearance: Must have Active DV (used within the last 18 months)
Salary: Up to £95K base + benefits + bonus
The Role
Youll play a key role in delivering secure, scalable cloud platforms and transformation projects for mission-critical government programmes. From architecture and design to build and automation, youll be hands-on throughout the full lifecycle operating within air-gapped, secure environments that demand precision and reliability.

AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Architecture
What Youll Do
Design, build, and deliver secure AWS solutions for enterprise-scale systems.
Apply Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation best practices.
Lead on DevSecOps initiatives and embed security-by-design principles.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption and platform modernisation.
Engage with stakeholders to shape architecture and delivery approaches.
Who You Are
5+ years hands-on AWS engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, architecture, and automation.
Confident communicator, comfortable in client-facing and consultancy settings.
Hold active DV clearance (used within the last 18 months).
AWS certifications desirable (Architect Associate, Developer Associate, DevOps Pro, or Security Specialty).
