Cloud Security Analyst $120-140k + Super

Great opportunity to get in at the ground floor, assist in building up the SOC and become our security hero

We are looking to speak with Cloud Security Analysts in North Sydney to work with a global healthcare provider supporting 7,000 doctors treating over 1.6m patients. Major tech environment is Azure, WinTel + a sprinkling of AKS

Here's some of what you could be doing:

Assisting (or leading) the cyber security strategy
Creating reports to document process implementation, improvements and security breaches.
Monitoring cyber security threats, and aiding incident detection/analysis
Participating in projects to strengthen the security posture of the SOC.
Investigating escalated security alerts and incidents
Designing and carrying out a wide range of security initiatives across the business.
Researching emerging products, services, protocols and standards

If you have most of this stuff... you're getting very warm indeed!

Experience implementing cyber security frameworks, policies and procedures
Experience implementing controls (in Microsoft 365 and Azure)
Strong hands on experience in security controls - (end point, firewalls, data loss etc.)
Demonstrated experience with IT infrastructure (Windows, virtualisation, cloud, authentication, networking, firewalls etc.)
Good exposure to the handling of security related incidents to root cause
Good knowledge of ISO27000 practices and controls
Understanding of Risk management practices with the ability to participate in Risk assessments and maintain Risk registers
Experience analysing & investigating security event logs
Significant experience in a Security Engineer role with an in depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies (operating systems, networking, public cloud, backup, recovery, monitoring) as well as networking

The role is office based (North Sydney) and the hours are 8-5pm (but we always finish early on a Friday)!
