Role: Software Developer-Node.js/AWS
Location: Remote(EST or CST only)
What You Will Do:
Participate and contribute in the full project life cycle, including gathering requirements, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of applications using .net, nodejs, angular, and cloud technologies (AWS)
Participate in estimating assigned work effort and be accountable for completion dates
Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications.
Deploying and debugging cloud native applications throughout the development lifecycle.
Document and code to allow other engineers to reuse and support components in the future.
As needed, help and mentor more junior developers and offshore team on implementation
Troubleshoot critical production issues if needed
Production release management and support as needed
Follow standard software development methodologies and SDLC and Agile practices to produce high quality applications in an efficient manner.
Effectively manage multiple project deliverables concurrently
Skills and Experience You Will Need:
Minimum of 7 years experience with object-oriented programming languages (i.e.: .Net)
5 years experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Node.js
Minimum of 3 years experience with AWS core services like S3, Lambda, EC2, SNS, SQS & Cloud Watch developing cloud-native business applications.
Working knowledge of AWS or other Cloud Computing environments required
Fluency with CI/CD tool sets such as: Azure DevOps.
Strong knowledge of API development (Creating & Consuming)
Conceptual knowledge of database normalization as well as implementation
Stored procedure, triggers and functions
Hands-on AWS experience with the server less approaches using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS or EKS At least 2 implementations (preferred in an Enterprise scale environment)
Strong communication and collaboration skillsets
Ability to work with globally dispersed teams
Agile / Scrum Experience
