Job Description
Role: Business Solutions Architect (2 openings)
Location: Berkley Heights, NJ and Alpharetta, GA
Remote position/ based on client need visit office
What You Will Do:
Lead all technical aspects of solution delivery for enterprise-scale clients; primarily consisting of:
Lead from requirements phase onwards on projects.
Manage all the implementation aspects of large-scale projects
Partner with the Engineering to design high--quality, high--performance solutions with an eye to solving a business need. - Plan / build / configure solutions within the specified timelines.
Drive efficiencies in execution processes. - Ensure adherence to established standards and may consult with senior managers on technology solutions.
May be responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.
Review system test plans and system designs to ensure a comprehensive approach to delivering quality and interacting with customers
Address all reported defects within a timely fashion.
Coordinate production handover.
Ensure adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
Develop understanding and encouragement of team's engineering innovation and improvement (engineering practices, DevOps, etc.)
Skills and Experience You Will Need:
Bachelors Degree at College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience.
12+ yrs. of relevant IT experience with technical aspects of solution delivery for enterprise-scale clients
Substantial expertise of application development technologies, multiple programming languages, tools, methodologies as well as all functional areas in IT organization.
Ability to pick up new platforms
Deep understanding of: Relational Databases, RESTful and Web services Linux and Spring.
Strong problem solving, analytical and programming skills. Including emerging technologies.
Knowledge of: J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate / JPA
Good understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business.
Confidence to work independently with IT functional units and business units.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
