Job Description
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a couple of Senior Data Engineers who support ETL Development. These roles will be responsible for developing and maintaining the ETL process and supporting multiple lines of Business and IT initiatives. The role can be W2 or 1099 until the position goes full-time. The hourly rate with benefits goes up to $95 an hour and is open to 1099, range up to $105 an hour. Once the position goes full-time comp will be in the $140k range. Our client is unable to sponsor at this time.
The ideal candidate is local (Minnesota), however we would consider candidates from the following approved states; AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, NV, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI.
This client has two openings - one requires five years with Informatica ETL on-premises and on the cloud. A plus would be having experience with SnowFlake, Python, and Spark experience (nice to have not a must.
The second role needs Informatica IDQ experience and Informatica MDM experience on cloud or on-prem, as well as Informatica ETL experience.
There are two areas - one being the data out area and then the other is the master data management area
1) Data Out on premises right now using Informatica primarily for the creation of these feeds. Going to our target platform which is on the cloud and will be beginning migrations to that so solutioning out how they deliver various data feeds on the cloud. Ideally, they need someone with a solid background in Informatica ETL but ideally, someone who also has some understanding of other technologies like snowflake, cloud, spark with Informatica cloud so they can start bringing some of that guidance and understanding into the mix
2) Master Data Management side needs an ETL person that has Informatica MDM experience. MDM is the cloud for informatica IDQ that they use on-premises. Will be rolling as many organizations as they can over the next couple of years to be fully on the cloud. Ideally, someone who understands the differences between on-prem and cloud.
These individuals may work independently or collaborate with a smaller group of developers in similar efforts. The positions are responsible for technical analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions as needed by the business or IT. These senior developers work closely with other SMEs to help design and build solutions for a multitude of applications, including; batch processing, OLTP, OLAP, and data warehouse architecture.
These roles will design, build, implement, and maintain data storage structures and processing pipelines for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a variety of data sources. Develop robust and scalable solutions that transform data into a useful format for analysis, enhance data flow, and enable efficient, cost-effective consumption and analysis of data. Write complex SQL queries to support analytics needs.
