Must have experience in the resume - Message Brokers (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, WebSphereMQ)
Sr .NET developer to design, develop, implement and support new and enhanced solutions
for our Train Control safety-critical systems such as Positive Train Control. We are looking for
a person that has excellent technical hands-on experience with .Net framework, C#, SQL
Server, Message Brokers (RabbitMQ, ActivMQ, WebsphereMQ), Rest API, Web API, JSON,
Socket level communications and Event-driven services. In this this role, the resource will
interact with other developers, technical leads, solution architects, and business analysts and
will be able to identify key milestones and communications points to achieve quality and
timely deliverables. Our focus is to ensure our systems have excellent hygiene, performance
and evergreen processes to maintain high availability that supports the safety of our
resources as well as BNSF velocity measurements.
After 6 months there will be some on call work that is a 6 to 8 week rotation.
Basics Qualifications:
5+ years of Object Oriented Development experience
C#; .Net Framework 4.7 or greater; .Net Core 3.1; .NET 5
Message Brokers (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, WebSphereMQ)
REST API
SOA, Event-driven Services, Microservices
SQL Server
Multithreading
Unit testing framework
Proven ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously, adhere to tight deadlines
and adapt to changing priorities

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional collaborative oral and written communications
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in safety critical product development (e.g. railroad, medical, aerospace)
Experience with Windows based Container Development
Experience with Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
