Job Description
We are seeking a Property Damage Claims Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of property damage claims (fire, water, wind, and collision). The role emphasizes strong client relations, clear communication, and the coordination of mitigation and restoration services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Perform site inspections on project assignments and compile accurate field documentation from inspections.
Collaborate with property owners, insurers, and other payees to address and resolve time-sensitive property damage matters.
Provide compassionate service to property owners and tenants, and deliver regular project status updates to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Conduct risk assessments to identify environmental hazards and potential impacts.
Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with stated goals and timelines.
Maintain thorough logs of communication for each job file and ensure compliance with third-party provider performance standards.
Apply strong attention to detail and manage large volumes of information across multiple, time-sensitive tasks.
Demonstrate problem-solving abilities, knowledge of general construction, and proficiency in property damage mitigation and restoration methods.
Prepare service summaries for assigned projects using field documentation, photographs, moisture data, and site visits.
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergencies, including after-hours and weekend work as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned and communicate regularly with the assigned manager.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of siding, home building, and hand tools; ability to troubleshoot machinery, products, and installation problems; strong organizational and verbal communication skills.

Language: ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials; able to write reports and present information to groups.
Math: ability to work with mathematical concepts (probability, statistical inference, geometry, trigonometry) and apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning: ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
Computer Skills: proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Xactimate; PSA; Matterport; Google Drive/OneDrive; Encircle; Moisture Mapper; Microsoft Outlook.

Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
24 years of experience managing a small construction team or related experience.
Mitigation/remediation experience.
Valid WI Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates degree or higher.
6 years of related industry/business experience.
Trades experience.
Industry certifications (WI DHS Lead Safe Renovator, WI DHS Asbestos Inspector, OSHA, IICRC WRT, IICRC ASD, ICRA, IICRC FSRT, IICRC CDS, IICRC AMRT, NIMS, etc.).
Customer service experience.

Work Environment & Travel
The role primarily operates on job sites that may have been damaged by fire, flood, wind, or other structural events. Candidates should be able to navigate uneven or debris-filled areas, travel within the region as needed, and be prepared for exposure to wet or humid conditions, fumes, and electrical risks. The work environment includes office interactions and field site visits.

Physical Demands
Regular walking, standing, reaching, climbing, bending, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional use of power equipment is required during restoration work.
