Manitoba HIV Program Lead
Job Description
The Manitoba HIV provides information, specialized care, treatment and support to over 1400 people living with HIV across the province, with the goal to ensure that everyone who tests positive for HIV has the same standards of care and access to treatment. The Program is committed to supporting the reduction of HIV related stigma in Manitoba. As such, the Manitoba HIV Program has partnered with Nine Circles Community Centre and the University of Manitoba to evaluate HIV related stigma and discrimination. The Program works with primary care providers and supports both clinical and community based research in Manitoba, linking individuals who require care to a broad range of HIV-related primary care, treatment and support services, and operates on three sites in Manitoba, including Nine Circles Community Health Centre, the Health Sciences Centre Outpatient Clinic (HSC) and 7th Street Access Centre Prairie Mountain Health Region (Brandon). The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Nine Circles Community Health Centre, this NEW position will be responsible for designing and leading systemic change to make a lasting impact to those who are affected by HIV in Manitoba. We are seeking a Servant Leader with the ability to respond and navigate complex situations with a high level of integrity and respect. Through engagement, strategic partnerships and the creation of efficient communication channels, this role will provide the opportunity to make a true impact in the lives of others and act as an advocate in the community for a meaningful cause. This .8 FTE position offers a flexible work schedule and balance between the Nine Circles site, HSC and a virtual home-office component. Key Responsibilities:
	Provide leadership and accountability for core functions including strategic planning, program oversight, service delivery, operational management, financial management and human resources.
	Drive and implement change initiatives related to business processes and HIV program delivery.
	Monitor access to a broad range of HIV-related primary care, treatment and support services to enhance pathways and link Manitobans living with HIV to patient-centric quality services and specialized care.
	Oversee day-to-day administration, including referral tracking, routine testing, waitlists and process mapping.
	Create and launch a Communication Strategy that provides open communication channels and measures success.
	Revamp and reintroduce the Program to key stakeholders, building off of established networks and growing community partnerships to increase awareness, expand services and stop the stigma of HIV.
	Establish cooperative relationships with government, health authorities, health agencies, industry related partners, and internal and external stakeholders as a spokesperson for HIV program delivery.
Selection Criteria:
	Post-Secondary degree in related clinical field registered and/or licensed with a relevant regulatory body.
	5 years+ of progressive leadership experience in healthcare services; primary and public health focus is an asset.
	Successful track record of operational excellence and resourcefulness, with achievement in program delivery.
	Experience working with vulnerable populations, coupled with the ability to foster a culturally safe environment.
	Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate political situations and employ innovation and creativity.
	Exceptional communication skills and capacity to cultivate new relationships and partnerships.
	Servant Leader with the ability to model, promote and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
