Lead Cloud Architect

Job Description

The Lead Cloud Architect is responsible for leading the expansion of the enterprise's cloud capabilities. The Lead Cloud Architect uses their comprehensive knowledge of cloud-based practices and processes to identify opportunities for enhancement or expansion and implements solutions of great severity, leveraging cloud-based capabilities. The Lead Cloud Architect is additionally responsible for providing oversight on less experienced architects work.

Youre great at:

Understanding of the architectural principles of building on the Azure Cloud .
Ability to understand cloud application requirements.
Understanding computer, networking, storage, and data services in Azure.
Understanding Azure deployment and management services.
Ability to identify which Azure services meet a given technical requirement.
Knowledge of recommended best practices for building secure and reliable solutions on the Azure platform.
Knowledge of the application of the best practices in cloud solutions development.
Proficient in MS Office Suite of Products (including Outlook) and Windows environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a senior team member.
Ability to resolve day-to-day problems/issues competently and efficiently quickly and accurately.
Ability to resolve routine/minor conflicts efficiently, and knowledge of when to escalate.
Coach, mentor, less experienced support staff as necessary.
Transform difficult and complex technical ideas and topics into clear and relevant business ideas and concepts.
Ability to practice analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities and an enhanced capability of "thinking outside the box" to deliver innovative strategies that move the business forward and respond to changing market conditions.
TOGAF methodology experience
You have:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study or equivalent project-related experience.
At least 12+ years experience in IT.
7+ years experience in cloud system design.
