Software Developer
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to help replace legacy applications with modern web applications. You will be maintaining front-end and back-end components while creating a new generation of products. You will collaborate with the development team, well-versed in all our current technologies and applications.We desire someone who can hit the ground running. Initial tasks will involve learning a few of our current applications and gaining familiarity with our business processes. You will be working in a modern environment specializing in the support of world class athletes.
RESPONSIBLE TO
This position reports directly to the CTO.
To support the office staff, typical hours are 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Often it is necessary to work after hours or on weekends to do system upgrades, special projects, etc.
The work atmosphere is casual, but it is necessary to be well groomed.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Demonstrated success dealing with complex technical problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
A solid JavaScript/Node and React development experience.
Experience working with RESTful APIs
Drupal and PHP knowledge is helpful.
Experience working with leading business database platforms. MS SQL preferred.
Fluent in various software architectures / development systems, preferably distributed service-oriented architectures.
Windows and Linux operating systems.
Three to five years of work (not college labs or boot camp) experience in the areas of application development.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience can be substituted.
