Position: Java Developer
Location: Remote
Interview Process: 2 interviews with the team. 1st round - focused on Job experience and how specifically they can explain their knowledge with examples from their current roles. 2nd round - Technical interview with coding session
Top Requirements:
5-7 years Java development
Spring /Spring Boot / Spring Cloud web services, restful API CRUD/Swagger
AWS Cloud Services Glue, Drools, Graph QL, lambdas, dynamoDB, EC2, ECS, kinesis -> focus kinesis/lambda, how they handle multiple lambdas and how kinesis streams deliver content

Areas of focus:
Previous Candidates were not able to clearly and distinctly show their knowledge of the technologies and projects they were working on. By being able to provide clear examples and a grasp of the tools they were working on.
AWS lambdas, dynamoDB, EC2, ECS, kinesis, Glue, Drools, GraphQL
o Questions to ask - What is current Cloud Experience? Specifically how have you engaged with the following cloud service tools? Can you please give specific examples of these in your most recent projects.
Spring Boot / Spring Cloud web services, restful APIs CRUD/Swagger.
o Which Build tool have you used to develop a spring boot application?
o Have you written test cases using Spring Boot? Can you explain?
o What is the difference between Spring boot and Spring Cloud?
What does Spring Cloud offer?
Java Experience Do they have Java 11 experience?
Any experience with Node is a plus.
