Job Title: DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help build, maintain, and scale highly reliable, secure, and performant infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development and operations by automating processes, improving system reliability, and enabling faster, safer deployments.

Key Responsibilities

*Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

*Automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

*Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.

*Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software releases.

*Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

*Improve system reliability, latency, and overall operational efficiency.

*Collaborate with development teams to enhance application performance and resiliency.

*Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

*Participate in on-call rotations and incident response when required.

Required Qualifications

*Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

*Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

*Hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

*Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

*Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

*Solid understanding of networking, system architecture, and security principles.

*Experience supporting high-availability, distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

*Prior experience in an SRE-focused role supporting large-scale production environments.

*Knowledge of microservices architecture.

*Familiarity with GitOps practices.

*Experience with logging tools such as ELK Stack or Splunk.

*Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
