IT/Cybersecurity Solutions Architect RFP

Job Description

This position is contingent upon contract award.

The IT/CSA will analyze requirements, procedures and problems to automate and improve existing system.

Responsibilities:

Provide selection recommendations for products, acquisition of hardware and software, and implementation of solutions for future operations. All implementation shall be on-premises unless pre-approved otherwise.

Revise the Project Automation Plan to reflect changes, subcontractor plans and implementations, Construction and Work Package Automation, and future technological evolution.

Assist with the development of roadmaps for the transition of application and data networks with emphasis on engineering (e.g. 3D CAD model), assets, work packages and records.

Support development of required information management processes and systems to be included to support cost estimate basis (Basis of Estimates and Job Task Analysis).

Work closely with the Information Management/Data Specialist to recommend file sharing tool or mechanism to communicate and share large data files between external entities.

Work closely with the Information Management/Data Specialist to provide recommendations for an architecture for enterprise data integration between applications and data sources required for build book production (e.g. data warehouse, data broker, data replication, etc.) This should include classified and unclassified environments.

Work closely with the Information Management/Data Specialist to develop a master plan for the disposition of a retiring network to the new network.

Work closely with the Network Engineer(s) to provide recommendations for an architecture / approach for the implementation of enterprise applications where related data is partitioned between classified and unclassified environments considering all Cyber and Information Security requirements and constraints.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent major and 7 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Experience architecting enterprise solutions for complex environments which include classified and unclassified networks, as well as industrial controls.

Experience in implementing IT, Cyber, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) systems.

Experience creating planning documents, drawings, and design documents to facilitate architecture planning requirements.

Experience in applying NIST and DOE guidance to IT/Cyber programs.

NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework for Information Systems and Organizations.

NIST SP 800-82 Guide to Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security.

NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations.

NIST SP 800-160 vol 1&2 Systems Security Engineering: Considerations for a Multidisciplinary Approach in the Engineering of Trustworthy Secure Systems.

Ability to design, develop, implement, and oversee the Information Technology infrastructure for the project and for a Tactical Operations Center/Security Operations Center.

Experiencing architecting complex classified and unclassified IT systems.

Experiencing architecting virtual environment solutions.

Experience with networking.

Experience implementing financial systems and project management tools.

Understanding of classified and unclassified Cybersecurity needs and the ability to work with Derivative Classifiers, Records Management, Cybersecurity, and other data and security related organizations.

Ability to define scope of technical programs and development of an effective and efficient solution to challenges which involve unique or controversial problems.

US Citizenship Required: Yes.

Area Security Access: The ability to obtain a Q clearance is required.
